Transforming Wines into Art: The Guida Project
Hi Everyone, photography and wine lovers!
Today, I want to share an experience that blends art, creativity, and a passion for detail. I had the honor of working on an extraordinary photographic project for Guida, a talented photographer, entrepreneur, and wine expert whom I met at a food photography masterclass in Miami.
Guida is passionate about photography, creating stunning images of nature and landscapes with cameras and drones, and she possesses exceptional knowledge in the world of wine as a Sommelier & WSET Level 3.
Guida contacted me to create the concept and capture the essence of two of her most distinguished products: Guida Prosecco and Guida Pinot Grigio. From the start, I had a clear vision for this project: to reflect the duality of day and night using flowers to represent this contrast. I proposed the idea of embedding her products within magnificent floral structures.
To bring this vision to life, we hired one of the best florists in Miami, who created a base to hold the flowers, leaving a space in the center with the silhouette of the bottles to then integrate them into the floral structure. The careful arrangement of real flowers around the base created a dazzling visual effect, highlighting the authenticity and beauty of the design, achieving a more impactful and natural visual effect. The structures were mounted on thick glass with translucent white acrylic, which was used as a light diffuser to create transparency effects in the bottles, a key technique in bottle and liquid photography.
Additionally, we took photos of the products against a white background, highlighting the bottle design and labels from a heroic angle, enhancing the product's presence and character.
The result was spectacular. The Guida Prosecco bottle, wrapped in a halo of dark and warm flowers, stands out with its elegance and depth, capturing the essence of a sophisticated night. On the other hand, the Guida Pinot Grigio bottle, accompanied by light and vibrant flowers, radiates freshness and lightness, evoking the energy of the day. This project was a perfect fusion of floral art and photography, where every element came together to tell an elegant, powerful, and evocative visual story.
Working on this project was a reminder of how collaboration and creativity can transform a vision into a tangible work of art. The experience taught us the importance of details, how each element, no matter how small, contributes to the whole.
I am grateful to Guida for the opportunity and trust placed in us to bring this vision to life.
I hope this story and these images inspire you as much as they inspired me. Until next time!
That’s a wrap!
Be Great, Be BOLD!.
