The Power of Art and Creativity:
A Bold Collaboration with Chef Jorge Kauam
Hi Everyone
I met Chef Jorge Kauam eight years ago. From our very first project, we realized that we had a great creative connection. Since then, we haven’t stopped collaborating, creating photo sessions full of challenges and creativity. Jorge, in addition to being an extraordinary chef, has an incredibly creative mind. Every session with him is a new challenge, as we always strive to surpass what we achieved in the previous shoot. The bar is constantly being raised, yet somehow, we always find a way to innovate and surprise.
What I enjoy most about working with Jorge is the creative freedom he gives me. He allows me to create, explore, and experiment without limits. When a client gives me that freedom, something magical happens. Ideas expand, and with Jorge, after reviewing and discussing each proposal, he takes charge of production, and that’s where the real creative play begins.
In this October edition, I want to share one of our sessions from some time ago. I found myself at a point where I needed something new, something different to present to the chef. I asked him to take photos of his new collection of bonbons with his phone and send them to me. One afternoon, as I examined each bonbon in detail, something clicked in my mind. I thought, “Each bonbon is a work of art in itself.” The colors, textures, and details took me beyond flavor; they were a visual experience that reflected Jorge’s artistry in each design. At that moment, I thought: Why not replicate the bonbon designs as backgrounds and fuse the bonbons with them, creating a unique and creative composition?
Chef Jorge got to work, and a few days later, my phone wouldn’t stop buzzing. It was Jorge sending me photos of the backgrounds he had created for the shoot. When I opened the messages, I was speechless. WOW! What I saw weren’t just backgrounds; they were genuine works of art that far exceeded any expectation I had.
Today, I want to share some of the results from that session. What began as a simple photo shoot turned into an artistic experience. The bonbons, crafted with innovative and artistic designs, fused with those spectacular backgrounds, creating a unique visual experience. We managed to combine flavor, creativity, design, and art. Now, there’s just one more step: a photography exhibition showcasing all these designs.
What do you think? Do you think it would be a good idea to take these results to an exhibition? I’d love to hear your opinion and receive any comments or suggestions you might have.
If you have any projects in mind and would like us to develop them, I’d be thrilled to join you on that creative journey.
That’s all for now, see you in the next edition!
That’s a wrap!
Be Great, Be BOLD!.
